My cousin Ariel came back for Chinese New Year!
She is 7 years old this year. I love playing with her. We play a lot together.
But Isaac and Ivan are always playing their Nintendo D.S., iPad, iPhone, PS2, and all sorts of electronic things. But I still like being with them.
This is my family (Mom's side). I'm in the blue cheong sam and Ariel's in the green one. Ivan is next to Ariel, and Isaac's next to Ivan. My sister's the one in light pink. Including the adults, it's quite a small family, don't you think so? Most families have a bigger family than this.
OK. Needa go!

Campfire Adventure
A few weeks ago, I had to write a story for my English work. I'd like to share it with you. Hope you like it!
This is my story:
Campfire Adventure
I met Sandra at church one day on the 16th of July 2010.
I said, "Hi, Sandra." and she replied saying, "Hi, Eunice." I suggested that we go search for Lucy, Adam, and Mike. She agreed.
We found Lucy at Burning Bush and Adam was around the concourse area. And Mike was hiding behind our backs! Well, at least we found him.
We wanted to go somewhere to have fun. Lucy suggested about going to an ice-cream shop, I suggested we go to Frim Forest Reserve, Adam suggested we go to the park and Mike copycatted me! Why does it always have to be me! Me! Me!
Well, Adam said that my suggestion was the best, so the next day, we all boarded a bus and headed to Frim Forest Reserve.
When we arrived, I took out some Kentucky Fried Chicken my mom made for us. Sandra took out marshmallows, Adam and Lucy took out meatballs, and Mike took out fishballs. A helper from the forest reserve helped us light our campfire.
We were all enjoying ourselves when I heard a hissing sound. I looked all around us and sure enough, there was a poisonous rattlesnake hiding behind two bushes.
I shivered with fear as I pointed it out to my friends. Then I saw that my dog was barking so hard his throat was sore! I made him swallow a doggy sore throat pill to make his sore throat go away.
After that, my friends and I began to shout towards the reserve center until our voices sounded like my dog's! But no one answered.
Then Adam said, "Don't be afraid. Jesus is with us." We all prayed a silent prayer and then Mike began climbing up a tree. He poked a fishball into one of the branches.
The snake, curious, slithered up the tree. When it was still halfway up, Mike took out his pen knife and pierced it into the snake!
Mike hadn't been so brave in all his life! We all cheered, "Hooray for Mike!" and hugged him.
"We can't do anything without you." I said. Everyone agreed.

My Cousins
I have three cousins.
1. Isaac Yeoh (9 in April)
1. Isaac Yeoh (9 in April)
Taken during last year's CNY (Isaac was 8 then).
2. Ariel Lim (7 in August)
Ariel's father's from Singapore, so she and her mom (my mom's sister) lives there, too.
This was taken in a museum when I was visiting Ariel in Singapore.
3. Ivan Yeoh (7 in September. Isaac's brother)
This was taken in December last year when my father accidentally dislocated Ivan's arm a little while fighting.
All of my cousins are from my mom's side. My mom has one sister and brother.
None of my Dad's three siblings are married :(

Eight Years Old!
I can't belive that 2010 is gone! It has flown by so quickly! I'll never get used to calling myself eight!
Chinese New Year's coming, too! I love cheong sams! They're not really comfortable, but they're real pretty.
Chinese New Year's coming, too! I love cheong sams! They're not really comfortable, but they're real pretty.
This is me and my grandparents during last year's Chinese New Year.
Anyway, first things first, let me introduce myself.
(left to right) My sister Eliza, me, Mom, and Dad.
My sister is going to be twelve this year. Both of our birthdays are in April. She and I are homeschooled.
We're doing an online program for our homeschooling. My sister's doing AOA (Alpha Omega Academy) and I'm doing SOS (Switched On Schoolhouse). The only difference is that she has teachers from the U.S. to grade her work and well, my teacher's my mom. My sister's doing grade 7 & 8 and I'm doing grade 3.
And this is my cutie little doggy Skipper. He'll be two in September.
OK, gotta go! Lunch break over! More posts coming!
